Uber gets approval to launch robotaxis in Madrid by the end of 2026

Madrid is set to launch Uber robotaxis by the end of 2026, becoming one of the first European cities for mass robotaxi service. Waymo has already opened an office in the city, so competition between the two autonomous-mobility giants starts earlier than expected. For the IT community this means new projects, jobs and real-world cases around driverless technology.
