Royal decree on data centres and 5 billion euros for an AI gigafactory

Within 24 hours Spain issued an emergency IA360 decree that changes the rules for data centres. Amid a dispute with SpainDC, a consortium formed of the government, Banco Santander, Telefónica, ACS and Multiverse Computing, aiming at 5 billion euros for a European AI gigafactory. Senior engineers are being hired in cloud infrastructure, data centre, high-load, Kubernetes, Rust and sovereign AI.
